Does it make sense to train on Opel? Are there any differences in training for classic or front-wheel drive cars?During the course we explain to the drivers the different behaviour of the car depending on drive type, however, safe driving basic principles work in the same way for all cars – front-wheel drive, classic and 4-wheel drive. The difference affects the way of driving the car, not the safe driving principles as such. Many safe driving methods require pushing off the clutch, which automatically switches off any kind of drive.
Does it make sense to attend course where the mechanical gear box is used? The most important is not the type of a gear box you have. Although there are some differences in driving a car, the safe driving methods are similar. The difference is that with automatic gear box you are not able to push the clutch to line up the balance of the car and by doing that improving the road adherence in critical situations, but there are other ways how to handle it. The thing we are teaching – is how to avoid such dangerous situations.
Now I have a feeling of falling while making a turn, especially to the right. Will the training on Opel help me to feel better my jeep and to overcome the sense of falling? By attending our course you will have an opportunity to understand the behaviour of different car types. Although driving Opel will definitely be different from driving a jeep, the main thing that you will learn in our course will be the understanding of safe driving and its main principles, which in turn will help you to realise and overcome the unpleasant feelings with your car.
As we all know, accidents also happen in summer, and often with more severe consequences than in winter. Therefore we would not advise to postpone training for the winter. Safe driving principles are the same in all seasons. It is better to take training immediately when you have made the decision to improve your driving skills, and then if necessary you can take additional practical training lessons in winter.
Theoretical training is the same, but practical lessons have slightly different exercises, as it is not necessary to develop such a high speed to provoke the sliding of the car.
It is possible, but it is more an exception and has to be discussed individually. We use DBS cars during the training as they are prepared for such purposes and we control their technical condition. Our cars are specially insured and equipped to perform specific exercises and demonstrations. Experience shows that customers with their own car are not able to provoke a really critical situation, as they simply care too much about their car.
Our basic course is eight hours long and its main goal is to “’open eyes” on how dangerous the road and car driving can be. We give basics allowing the driver to feel safer and to perceive car driving in a different way. If the driver is willing to improve his driving skills, it is possible to continue practical lessons in our further courses.
The fact that we have a driving licence does not mean that we are able to drive safely. Our training will certainly make you feel safer, as our main aim is to teach drivers to be safe on the road. Our experience shows that even very experienced drivers have something to learn in our course.
Our customers are mainly enterprises, who are usually sending large groups of people, therefore our price is already lower than it should be. Special discounts can be discussed for organised groups over 15 people.
