The Safe Driving School (DBS) offers periodic training for professional drivers to advance skills (Code 95). Within 5 days the skills will be refreshed and reinforced, and additional knowledge will be provided on the following topics.
1. Economical and fuel-efficient driving in compliance with safety regulations;
2. Vehicle transmission and how to use it correctly;
3. Technical parameters of security devices and their management;
4. Fuel consumption optimization;
5. Correct load placement in the vehicle;
6. Securing passenger comfort and safety;
7. Laws and regulations on driving and rest periods, transporting cargo and passengers;
8. Freight forwarding (licenses) and other documentation necessary for shipping, including consignment notes and border crossing procedures;
9. Probability of traffic accidents, prediction of dangerous situations, what to do in case of traffic accident;
10. Prevention of crime and illegal immigration;
11. Ergonomic principles;
12. Driver’s physical and mental health and how it affects safety on road;
13. Emergency assesment (assistance to victims and first aid, evacuation of people, reaction in case of aggression, basic principles of filling in an accident protocol (accident report);
14. Positive public relations of the company, economic conditions of cargo or passenger transportation, market organization.
We pay special attention to road traffic safety as well as prediction and prevention of dangerous situations.
After full completion of the training course DBS will issue a certificate which is valid for 5 years and will electronically notify the Road Traffic Safety Department about persons who have fully completed the training course.
Total duration of training is 35 hours.
