Statoil Latvia is the largest Latvia chain of filling stations providing full range of services. Along with Statoil companies in Lithuania and Estonia, it has been holding leading positions in the segment of shops for quick purchases on the Baltic market for more than 10 years.
Statoil is performing a special program Environment. Health. Safety every day. According to the program, development of new projects for the stations, selection of equipment and training of personnel is ensured, as well as investments into a number of social projects are carried out*. Many of them made a start to new traditions, including driving philosophy the company has been introducing since 1994 in Latvia under trade brand "Statoil Eko" Road.
Until now, key principles and advantages of economical driving were popularized on seminars, through TV and radio advertisement and advertising materials distributed at Statoil stations. In 2006 these activities got a new quality level, since Latvian citizens are offered practical lessons of economical driving for the first time. Statoil Latvia is a general sponsor of study program. Training is carried out by Safe Driving School in compliance with the methods approved on the international level.
