Hansa Lizings is active in Latvia since 29 December 1994 as the first leasing company. Over these years Hansa Lizings has been the leader of the leasing market.
Hanza Lizings is the first company in Latvia who has signed the European Road Safety or so-called Verona Charter with the target to reduce the number of road deaths by 50% by 2010. Hansa Lizings also implements the project ”Hansa Līzinga Ceļa skola” (Hansa leasing road school), which includes frequent educational activities in Latvian schools about road safety (educating around 2000 children a year) and specially developed issues of “Road books” in Latvian and Russian languages with practical road behaviour advises.
